Aschenbrenner Trucking has been in business since 1987. Mike started his business with a ’65 GMC cracker box cab over that he bought from his uncle, “Harold Aschenbrenner” – twin brother to Mike’s dad “Howard Aschenbrenner”. Mike originally began hauling grain and plastic pipe. Once Mike booked a load for Vermeer freight out of Pella, Iowa, he was hooked! He never looked back and has been hauling Vermeer freight ever since. Mike has no plans of retiring anytime soon and it shows how much he loves his career.
Mike and His Truck
Over the years Aschenbrenner Trucking has grown from one single truck to over 40+ trucks (with some company drivers as well as owner – operators). That’s a lot of loads getting loaded each week now out of Vermeer MFG. Together both companies have gone through changes, challenges, and negotiations. It’s how you get through them together that counts, because the trucking industry will never stand still or remain complacent without change. We all strive for excellence and good service.
